MYTHOLOGY LOVE STORIES

Love (noun)

/lav/ - an intense feeling of deep affection

Love is what we are living right now, we live to love, and we live for love. We experience the same positive thoughts and feelings when we love someone as we like a person. But we also feel a deep sense of caring and devotion towards that person. Being in love encompasses all of the above, but includes feelings of sexual excitement and attraction as well. There are a lot of people who shared love with each other and some of those are the gods and goddesses in mythologies.

As we get through deeper in their stories we discover different kinds of love. Love that get to the point that they need to sacrifice, they need to let go, and some was just in need of sexual intercourse. But what matters as we know their story, the experience they get through and the lessons. Cupid teaches Psyche that without trust there can be no love and from Apollo and Daphne be careful what you wish for. Apollo was devastated, conquered by his irrepressible emotions of love, for he wanted her to be his wife and since she turned into a tree, it was dreadful

Those lessons we got teaches us about life, about love, about ourselves and others. Because of those we tend to think about the things we wanted to do and ask ourselves if this is the right thing or not from the lessons we got. This boosts our perceptions of things like faith, compassion and empathy. It motivates us to cooperate with others and affects our social behavior positively. Stories have a special ability to create connections because of this.
